Our carers are trained to work with you, offering you support to carry out as many tasks you are able to, for yourself. By doing things this way we are able to maintain your self esteem, alongside your emotional and physical wellbeing.
Belvoir Home care's staff are handpicked specifically to meet your needs. We place high emphasis on recruiting employees who are naturally caring and helpful. These staff are our ‘shining stars’ who our clients request come repeatedly
We also offer employees ongoing training opportunities to further develop their skill set.
Our staff are friends, cleaners, companions, cooks, personal assistants and personal shoppers. We train all of our carers to notice those ‘little things’, that can make a big difference to your welfare and happiness.
We provide a minimum call time of 1 hour to our clients. This means we are not rushed and have time to focus on other elements of a persons support in addition to the goals set. If we are assisting with meal preparation, the extra time can be spent either cooking a meal from scratch, or helping someone with mobility so that they build up an appetite.
We operate a 15 minute window either side of our agreed call times as we appreciate that it can be a long time for our clients to wait if they don't know when someone is coming. It is the reliability and dependability of the staff that helps build the relationships with our clients that we pride ourselves on.
As a family run business this element is at the forefront of everything we do. The manager ensures all personalities of the clients and carers are matched. To achieve this the manager visits each client before the care service is set up to find out more about you and your requirements. You will be assessed and paired with a carer who matches you. Love cats, lasagna and golf? We endeavor to find a carer with similar interests. We take pride in our approach and want to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.

We are proud of our excellent reputation locally. Most of our client referrals are recommendations from local district nursing teams, GPs, existing clients or relatives.
We were one of the first independent providers in our county to go completely paperless with our care and support plans. Our clients and anyone nominated by them, can therefore have 24/7 access to rotas. Meaning they can see who is scheduled to attend their calls at what time, and all information we hold about the client; including support plans, risk assessments and care reviews.
As a lot of our clients have relatives living further afield, the feedback we receive is that having real time access to this information, is a great source of comfort, support and transparency, allowing them to have full involvement in their relatives support, despite not living locally.
We are rated good by the Care Quality Commission. The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. It monitors and inspects services, to make sure they are safe, effective and provide high-quality care.
